On the accuracy of the finite volume approximations to nonlocal conservation laws
On the accuracy of the finite volume approximations to nonlocal conservation laws

Abstract. Differential equation-based traffic and crowd dynamics models have been of interest in the recent past. This talk focuses on “nonlocal” macroscopic traffic models involving scalar as well as systems of nonlocal conservation laws. We discuss their well-posedness and finally prove the rate of convergence of their finite volume approximations to the entropy solution.
