Starting from June 28, 2021, the Workshop “Mathematical and computational models in music” will be held in mixed mode (face-to-face and online). This is the second appointment organized at the University of Pavia dedicated to mathematical-musical research, three years after the first.
The talks will be dedicated to the discussion and dissemination of recent research results in Mathematical and Computational Theory in Music. The workshop is aimed at mathematicians, computer scientists, composers, music theorists, musicologists and anyone with an interest in this interdisciplinary research field.
Participation is free. There are two ways: online or in person. In the latter case, as we have to limit the number of people present in the room due to pandemic restrictions, we require participants to register for the Workshop. We will do our best to allow anyone who wishes to participate physically.
The workshop is organized by the Department of Mathematics “F. Casorati” of the University of Pavia (Italy), by the University of Padua in collaboration with the University of Strasbourg.
