SUMMARY:Minimal surfaces and almost Fuchsian representations in the hyperbolic 4-space
DESCRIPTION:Developped by Uhlenbeck for the study of Kleinian groups, almost Fuchsian representations are representations of surface group admitting an equivariant minimal disc in the hyperbolic space, whose second fundamental form is small. Such a representation is always discrete and faithful. We generalize this notion to isometries of a negatively curved space, and consider the specific case of the hyperbolic 4-space. We show an example of such representation whose associated complete hyperbolic 4-manifold is a nontrivial disc bundle over the surface.\n
